Pigeon Forge

Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is one of the premier family fun destinations in the country.  Located in east Tennessee next to the Smokey Mountains, Pigeon Forge hosts a several family-oriented attractions, making a perfect weekend getaway.

Pigeon Forge partnered with 31 minor league baseball teams promoting tourism to the area.  Minor league baseball teams located within 500 miles of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, were targeted for the promotion.  The goal of the campaign was to increase awareness of Pigeon Forge and develop a database of interested decision makers to send travel information to.

Pigeon Forge Night
Each of the minor league baseball teams designated one night during the season as Pigeon Forge Night.  During games leading up to Pigeon Forge Night, public address and scoreboard announcements were made.  Advertisements in local newspaper, website, and radio also promoted the upcoming event.

On Pigeon Forge Night, stadium personnel were provided Pigeon Forge t-shirts to wear
during the game.  As fans entered the ballpark, they were provided a Pigeon Forge informational booklet and contest registration card.  Fans were then encouraged to fill out their registration card and were entered to win Pigeon Forge prizes throughout the game.  Temporary signs and posters were also displayed throughout the stadium.

On-field promotions during the game drew fan attention between innings and featured promotional prizes provided by Pigeon Forge.

Of all the registrations received, one lucky fan won a grand prize of a weekend trip to Pigeon Forge, including accommodations and passes to local attractions and restaurants.
